There are two buttons on this pager:

· Function Button:  displays various functions of the pager, stores and deletes messages.

l Read/Select Button:  checks the received messages and selects a function.

 

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

The pager requires one “AAA” battery.  To replace, release the lock from the battery cover.  Push battery cover out to arrow direction.  Remove battery cover completely, and then replace the battery.  Caution:  During the replacing of the battery all stored messages may be deleted.

 

TURNING PAGER OFF/ON

Turn Off:  Press · button twice to display “Pager Off”, and press l to turn off the pager.  The pager will stop operating and only display the current time.

Turn On:  Press ·.  It will beep and all icons and letters will be displayed on the screen.  Both time and date will be displayed on the screen and the pager is on standby to receive messages.

 

RECEIVING AND READING MESSAGES

When receiving a message the alarm or vibrate will notify you of an incoming message.  Press l to stop alert.  Press l to display most current message.  In the case of no stored messages, “No Page” will be displayed.  If ► appears on the screen, the phone number is more than 12 digits long.  Press · to display the rest of the message.  The time and ID number will follow.  Press · to check other messages.  The pager will store 18 messages that have up to 18 characters.  When the pager memory is full, F icon will be displayed at right corner of the screen.  When a new message is received the oldest message will be deleted.

 

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING MESSAGES

To avoid accidental deletion of messages you can lock up to a maximum of 12 messages.  When a message is displayed, press · and lock icon will be displayed.  Press l to lock the message.  To release the locked message, press · and lock icon will be displayed.  Press · twice.  The lock icon will disappear and the locked message will be released.

 

FUNCTION MENU

Press · and each function will be displayed.  Choose one function by pressing l.

 

SETTING VIBRATION/ALERT/SILENT MODE

Press · and “SET ALERT” will be displayed.  Then press l.  Press · until “MOTOR” with flickering speaker icon appears.  Press l and the pager will vibrate. 

Press · until “SET ALERT” shows on screen.  Then press l.  By pressing · you can change to the music sound you wish.  There are 15 different sounds.  Press l to store the sound you prefer.

To select the silent mode, press · and “SET ALERT” will be displayed.  Then press l.  Press · until “SILENT” is displayed.  Press l to confirm.  When a message is received, there is no vibration or sound.

 

ALARM CLOCK

You can set an alarm on daily basis or for a particular time.  Press · four times and “SET ALARM” will be displayed.  Press l twice and select hour by pressing ·.  You can set minutes and on/off by press · and then l.  You can set up a maximum of 3 alarms.

 

SETTING TIME/DATE

Press · until “SET TIME” is displayed.  Press l for selection and select “HOUR” by press ·.  Press l to confirm.  Press · and l to set minutes.  You set the date in the same way.

 

AUTOMATIC POWER ON/OFF

You can set automatic power on/off when you are not using the pager.  During this time, the messages are saved.  Press · until “SET AUTO” is displayed.  Press l to display “AUTO DISABLE”.  Press · to selected with DISABLE or ENABLE and then press l to select turning on time.  Select hour by press · and set by pressing l.  Do minutes the same way.  You can set off time the same way.  After finishing the time setting, press l and the initial screen is displayed.

 

DELETING MESSAGES

Message can be deleted in two ways.  To delete all messages you press · until “DELETE ALL” is displayed.  Press l.  If you press l again all unlocked messages will be deleted.

To delete one message at a time, when the message is displayed on the screen, press · twice and the scissors icon will be displayed.  Press l to delete this message.
