The Eagle Sentry is a rugged yet attractive pager capable of working in the most demanding environments, be it construction, hospital or emergency services, while maintaining an attractive business appearance.
Get the technology you want with the features you need, in one small powerful package. The Sentry has the ability to store up to 19 messages as well as time date stamping, message lock and selective erase.
The Eagle Sentry is multilingual. The Sentry is capable of displaying messages in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish or Farsi. The Eagle Sentry gives you the option to display your messages in 4-line text, 2-line text or 2-line bold text.

User Information
TURNING YOUR PAGER ON
Press the — button for over 3 seconds, a start up screen is momentarily displayed and your pager activates the currently selected alert. NOTE: Press any button to stop the alert.
TURNING YOUR PAGER OFF
Press the • button to display the function menu. Press ◄ until "TURN PAGER OFF" is displayed. Press •to turn pager off.
READING INCOMING MESSAGES
Press any button to stop the alert. Press
— to display the message. Note: A flashing arrow in the right corner of the screen indicates the message is continued on an additional screen(s).
Press — to exit.
READING A STORED MESSAGE
From the message-status screen press on ◄ or ► to move the cursor to the message you want to read. Press — to read the message.
Display Zoom
When the feature is enabled, the standard 4-line is converted to a 2-line display. The characters are enlarged vertically increasing message readability. Press • to view the message, then use ◄ or ► to move the cursor until Zoom 1, Zoom 2, or Zoom 3 is displayed, then press • button to activate your choice.
SETTING MESSAGE ALERT
From the function menu, press
◄ to move the cursor until "VIBRATE MODE" is displayed. Press •, and it will bring you to the alert mode that the pager is set at. You can then press ◄ or ► to choose between the "vibrate only alert" or "beep+vibrate alert" or "audible alert". Press • to activate your selection.
SETTING ALERT PATTERN
You can set your pager to alert audible with a standard alert (1), one of seven pleasing alert (2-8), a chirp alert, or a chirp and vibrate alert. Note: your pager must be in audible alert mode to select an alert pattern.
From the function menu, press ◄ to move the cursor until "CHOOSE ALERT" is displayed. Press • to choose alert menu. Press ◄ or ► to move the cursor to the desired alert. The pager gives a sample of each alert as you move through your selection.
SETTING TIME AND DATE
Press • to get to the Function menu, press ◄ to move the cursor until "SET TIME & DATE" is displayed. Press • to display the set-time-and alarm screen. Press ► to move the cursor to the hour digit. Press either • or ▲ ▼ to adjust the hour. Repeat the same steps to adjust the minutes, AM/PM/24 Hr., month, day and year. Press — to activate the time and date setting. Note: To exit from any screen without making changes, press —
LOCKING/UNLOCKING MESSAGES
Up to 16 messages can be locked to prevent them from being deleted or from being replaced when memory is full. When a message is locked, the ▲ symbol is replaced by a "lock/padlock" symbol.
Lock or Unlock a Message
Press • until the function menu is displayed, press ◄ or ► to select the message you want to lock or unlock. Press • then ► to move the cursor to "lock message", or "unlock message" and end by pressing • to confirm.
DELETING MESSAGES
Deleting a single message
From the message-status screen press ◄ or ► to select the message you want to delete. Press • then ► to move the cursor until "DELETE MESSAGE" is displayed. Press • and "DELETE MESSAGE?" will show up a 2nd time to confirm that you want to delete message, follow by pressing • to delete it.
Deleting all unlocked and read messages
From the function menu press ► to move the cursor to "DELETE ALL MESSAGES", press • and "DELETE ALL MESSAGES?" will be displayed a 2nd time to confirm that you really want to delete messages. Press • and all unlocked and read messages will be deleted.
AUTOMATIC MESSAGE DELETION
If all 19 messages slots are full and a new message is received, the oldest, unlocked and previously read message is automatically deleted when a new message is received.
DUPLICATE MESSAGE
If the same message is received more than once "DUPLICATE MESSAGE" is displayed at the beginning of the new message. The new duplicate message replaces the older duplicate message and contains the latest time and date stamp.
BACKLIGHT
You can manually turn the backlight on or off at any time by pressing and holding any key over two seconds. The backlight automatically turns off when the pager returns to the standby screen or holding any key over two seconds.
