Northern How Are You Connected To Us? It Should Be Through Call Forwarding! Some of our answering service clients are still connected to us through a hardwire connection, utilizing a telephone company off-premise extension. Although this was the best and only way to be connected to an answering service in the past, things have now changed. Switching over to call forwarding will not only save you line charges to Bell of approximately $18.00 per month, but will allow us to answer your phone quicker in your client’s eyes. (The old method rings once at your location before it rings through to us. So the first ring we hear is actually the second ring your client hears.) Also, if you don’t have a “break hunt” feature from the telephone company (at additional expense), then if two calls come in, we get the first one, but the second one simply rings endlessly with no answer. When on call forwarding, the second caller gets a busy signal and knows to call back. For those who are concerned about forgetting to call forward their phone to us when they close, there is a feature available called “no answer transfer” After four rings, the call is automatically forwarded to us. This also works great for overflow calls during daytime peak periods. If you require more information regarding how you are currently set up, or how you might improve it, please give us a call right away. ~ Just Say It ~ If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting? Stephen Levine

80% Of Cellular Users In The United States Have A Pager! Cellular phones are great! There is no denying this. If you require immediate two way conversation, then a cellular phone Is the way to go. However, know that it is going to cost you significant money to use it and unless you have incredible self control, your usages and charges tend to grow from month to month. If you truly do require a cellular phone, then make cert2in you use it in conjunction with a pager. You will pay less money per month for a cellular phone and a. pager together than you would if you only had the cellular phone. Why? Because you give out your pager number and not your cellular phone number. This way, you get no incoming calls on your cellular. As the messages come across your pager, you can decide which calls are worth spending cellular air time on, and which ones can wait until you are back at the office or at home. It is simple to see how quickly a pager can pay for itself when used to pre-screen cellular use. If you have a cellular phone without a pager, come see us. Even if you have given out the cellular number to hundreds of clients ~ia a business card, it’s no problem. You can simply call forward the cellular phone to the pager, and no number changes are required. |
