NUMERIC PAGER

  

 

 

 

BATTERY INFORMATION

Your pager operates with on AAA-size alkaline battery (carbon zinc batteries are not recommended).

 

INSTALLING/REPLACING THE BATTERY

When replacing battery, all unlocked messages should be cleared.  Replace battery after “LOCKING” necessary messages.  When battery is low, alert sound (short alert  sound/vibration per one hour) will come out and “LOW BATTERY” will show on LCD.  To replace battery, push the battery locking tab open on the backside of the pager, open battery door.  Slide the door until it is completely free from the pager.  Position the new battery so the + and – markings line up and insert the new battery.  Align the grooves on the battery door with the grooves on the pager.  Slide the door until it is fully closed the positive click is heard.

 

CONTROL BUTTONS

This pager has three buttons: 

l Read Button – for reading message and setting conditions on LCD.

◄Function Button – for selecting menu, changing digits, (un)locking messages and clearing individual messages.

►Selection Button – for selecting Functions, moving and operating lamps

 

TURNING YOUR PAGER ON/OFF

In the current time (starting stage), push ◄ button two times, then push ►button once,  power turns off.  (At this time, pager can’t receive message and time only will be displayed.)

 To turn power on, push l button and display will return to current time.

 

SETTING TIME AND DATE

In the current time (starting stage), push ◄ button four times,  then push ► button once and day will flash.  You can change digits with ◄ and adjust displays with ► button.  After all adjustments are made push l, adjusted time and day of the week will be displayed.

 

SELECTING THE INCOMING MESSAGE ALERT

In the current time (starting stage), push ◄ button one time, “SET ALERT” appears.  If you push ► button one time “SILENT” will be displayed and vibration will be operated for a few seconds.  If you push l button, vibration will be selected and current time will be displayed. Instead of pushing l button you can keep pushing ► button and hear the different melodies.  Once your find the one you prefer, push l and the current time will displayed and the melody set.

 

MESSAGE CHECKING

In current time, if you push l one time, received time, address and call type of the message(s) will be displayed.  If you push l once more, the received message will be displayed and keep the l button on, reading messages will be displayed continuously.  (If the received messages are more than 12 characters long “►” will be displayed and the message will be extended by pushing l button.)  If you push ◄ button one time, message will be locked and lock diagram will appear.  At this time, if you push ◄ button for over two seconds continuously, message will be cleared and the next message will be displayed by pushing l button.  By pushing the ◄ button once more, locking will be released and at the same time, normal messages will be stored.  At this time, if you push ◄ button for over two seconds,  message will be cleared and if you push l button, the next message will be displayed.  After checking all received messages, if you push l, you can hear short alerting sound and current time will be displayed.

 

DELETING MESSAGES

In current time, push ◄ button three times.  Push ► button one time, all received messages will be cleared and current time will be displayed.  (Locked messages will not be cleared at this time.)

  

ALARM ON/OFF SELECTION

In current time, push ◄ button five times, you will see “ALARM ON”.  Push ► button one time.  At this time you can change digits with ◄ button and can adjust them by pressing ► button.  After adjustments have been made, push l button, alarm will be on and current time will be displayed.  (In power off or automatic power on/off, you can also do it.)  *In alarm, you can hear beep sound for 30 seconds.  If you want to stop alarm, push any button on pager.

 

AUTOMATIC POWER ON/OFF SELECTION

In current time, push ◄ button seven times.  “AUTO ON” will be displayed.  If you push ► button one time, selection condition will be automatic power on/off.  You can change the digits with ◄ button and can amend them by moving with ► button.  After amendments push l button, automatic power on/off condition will be selected and current time will be displayed.  To cancel automatic power on/off, push ◄ button eight times and then push ► button once, automatic power on/off will be cancelled and display will return to current time.
