INSTALLING THE  BATTERY

Slide the battery door lock in the opposite direction of the arrow to open.  Slide the battery door in the direction of the arrow to remove.  Install the battery as shown on the bottom cover.  Slide the battery door in the opposite direction of the arrow to close.

 

TURNING YOUR PAGER ON

Press and hold the square button to turn the pager on.  Depending on the alert mode setting, your pager will either beep or vibrate and the time will be displayed.

 

RECEIVING AND RETRIEVING MESSAGES

This pager can receive up to twelve 20-character messages.  Your pager can also store six 20-character messages in memory.  When a message is received, the pager will automatically display that message and alert for 10 seconds.

 

PROTECTING AND VIEWING STORED MESSAGES

While viewing a message you want stored, press and hold the square button until “STORE” is displayed.  Press the square button again to store the message.

 

ERASING MESSAGES

Locate the message you want to delete.  While viewing the message, press and hold and square button until “STORE”  is displayed.  Press the triangle to display “CLEAR” and press and hold the square button until “YOU SURE” is displayed.  While this prompt is flashing, press the triangle button to erase the message.  “CLEARED” will then appear to confirm the deletion.

 

ERASING PROTECTED MESSAGES

Press and hold the triangle button until the “CLEAR ALL” prompt is displayed.  Press and hold the triangle button again until “YOU SURE” prompt is displayed and begins to flash.  Press the triangle button again to erase all messages.  “ALL CLEARED” will then be displayed after successful completion of deleting these messages.

 

TO SELECT AN AUDIBLE TONE

Press and hold the triangle button until “CLEAR ALL” or “ALARM SET” is displayed.  Repeatedly  press the square button until “TONE SET” is displayed.  Press the triangle button to sample each tone and press the square button the select the desired tone.

 

SETTING THE CLOCK

Press and hold the triangle button until ”CLEAR ALL” or “ALARM SET” is displayed.  Repeatedly press the square button until “TIME SET” appears.  Press the triangle to display “T-12-00P” with the hour flashing.  Press the triangle button to go forward 1 hour at a time or press and hold to rapid scroll.  Press the square button to set minutes and flash the a.m./p.m. indicator.

 

SETTING THE ALARM

Press and hold the triangle button until “CLEAR ALL” or “ALARM SET” is displayed. If “CLEAR ALL” is displayed, press the square button to change to “ALARM SET”.  Press the triangle button to display “ALARM OFF/ON” and press the triangle button again to change between on and off. After you have the feature turned on, press the square button to have the hours flash and press the triangle button to change the hour.  Press the square button to have the minutes flash and press the triangle button to change the minutes.  Press the square button to have the a.m./p.m. indicator flash and then press the triangle button to change.

The alarm will sound at the set time and “ALARM” will appear on the screen.  Press the square button to stop the audible alert.

NOTE:  If the alarm feature is turned on, it will beep even if the pager is turned off.

 

TURNING THE PAGER OFF

Press and hold the square button until the time of day flashes. While this is flashing, press the square button again to turn the pager off.

 

BATTERY INFORMATION

This  pager is designed to operate with a AAA size alkaline battery.  Use only alkaline batteries in this pager for proper operation of the pager.

 

FEATURES

Alert mode:  The horn symbol located in the far left of the display screen indicates that the pager is in the beep or audible  mode.  You can select 6 different audible alert tones by pressing the square key.

Silent mode:  When the horn symbol is not seen, the pager is in vibrate or silent mode.

Low Battery Indicator:  The battery or “LO CELL” symbol indicates that the batter voltage is at a low level.  This indicates that you should replace your battery as soon as possible.

Saved Message Indicator:  The “M” symbol indicates that the message is saved in memory.

Duplicate Message Indicator:  The “DP” symbol indicates the message receive is a duplicate message.

Out of Range Indicator:  This symbol  indicates that your pager may be out of range.

Continued Message Indicator:  The right arrow indicates that the received message is longer than 12 characters.
