Cam-X, (The Canadian Call Management Association) operates an international program to to measure and promote excellent service within it's members. Each year call centers across North America can subscribe to be tested for the Award of Excellence. Cam-X hires independent contractors to place random mystery calls into a call center over a four month period. Each call is recorded and marked on twenty (20) different areas from ring count to customer service and message efficiency. A call center must achieve an average of 80% or higher on those calls in order to achieve the Award of Excellence. Northern Communications has surpassed the criteria for this award and is one of the recipients
